What Exactly Should we be feeding our Pet Rabbits?

With so much conflicting advice on animal husbandry it is easy to become confused & frustrated. When it comes to Rabbit nutrition there is much confusion - especially when it comes to fresh food.

Each species & individual will have there own soecfic needs, however as a generally rule we should aim for 👇

👉85% Grass or Hay

👉10% variety of leafy greens, vegetables & herbs

👉5% pellets (roughly 1 egg cup)

Fruit should only be offered very occasionally as a treat or ideally never.

Without a doubt the best place to source reliable information on Rabbit Care is The Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund.
