A Tortoise is not an Easy or Beginner Pet
We hear & see this a lot & in our opinion Tortoises are by no means ‘easy’ pets as they are frequently labelled 🙁

👉In addition It can be difficult to find veterinary proffessionals who genuinely know enough about suitable & up to date Tortoise care which further perpetuates the misconceptions.
👉The reality is they can actually be very challenging in a U.K. climate to keep in a way that ensures longevity & freedom from disease.
👉Our environment here Is so far away from where they have evolved to survive & thrive & this is where the main issues lie as replicating these environments becomes near impossible.
